It was Friday November 28, 2008 today so called the “Black Friday”. I went to work at 7:00 am today and at 7:30 Pedro and his worker showed up and sat up our tent. Then we took several samples from our inventory to the tent which was in our parking probably 30 feet away from our store. It was relatively a busy day. We received several rugs and kilims for cleaning and repair. Few customers also bought hand knotted kilims and area and hand knotted rugs. We sold two European new tapestries. The sale was not extra ordinary, but at the same token it wasn’t bad either. This was only our first day, and we still have two more days to go. Usually our Saturdays are busier than our Fridays. So we’re hopeful to have a better day tomorrow.
