Down-Sizing and Up-Sizing Rug Repair at Rug Ideas Los Angeles

Rug repair is one of the services that we provide our clients with. Sometimes our customers move to a smaller home or office and they want us to down-size their rugs and make them smaller. In some cases, they want us to attach to or more rugs together and make them bigger.

A client brought in two tufted rugs that he had bought in separate occasions from a rug importer online. Each one measured 8′ x 10′. The designs and the background color of the rugs were a little different from one another and he wanted us to attach them together so he can have one single piece of 10′ x 16′

We assigned one of our repair technicians to take care of this job. He sewed both tufted rugs together from the face after we tried to match the designs as much as we could.
