In our Rug Tent Sale, we sold several hand knotted Persian rugs, two of which were Varamin carpets from our own looms and productions. Two different customers bought these pieces separately. Varamin is a small town 25 miles south east Tehran with a rich history of rug weaving. These beautiful and collectible rugs are made with hand spun wool and natural dye. Each piece was unique with overall design. The red one had “Camel Foot” design and the ivory one had Shah Abbassi design.
