Was Picasso Really An Artist?

Last Sunday, I went to the preview of the Bonhams rug and carpet auctions in Los Angeles. After that I went to Los Angeles County Museum of Art LACMA. I visited some of Picasso’s paintings there. Pablo Picasso was originally from Spain born in 1888 died in 1973. He lived most of his life in France. He was a famous painter and sculpture. In his early life, his style of painting was realistic but later on he became one of the most active pioneers of cubism. Was he really an artist? Well I guess it depends on our definition of art and artist.
